 English Course 2nd Day

In this lesson we will learn about basic grammar definitions, like Adjectives, Adverbs, Noun and Pronoun.
Adjective: It is a word that modifies a noun or a pronoun.
Shaheen is an intelligent girl.
Aslam is a tall boy.
We are good players.
Adverb: It is a word that modifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.
Jamila speaks loudly.
We live happily.
Akbar walks slowly.

Noun: It is a word that describes a name of place, person or thing. There are two main types of noun.

  • Common Noun
  • Quaid-e-Azam is the founder of Pakistan.
    Aslam plays hockey.
    Murree is a very cold place.
    Islamabad is a very beautiful city.
    It is very expensive table.
    This chair is made up of wood.
    Pronouns: These are words that are used inplace of nouns.
    For example: I, We, You, He, She, They, It.
    Akbar is seventh class student.
    He gets up early in the morning every day. He performs prayer regularly. He goes to school on time. He respects his teachers. He helps old people.
